Key issues: The Triple Steelix cluster consists of SME’s and larger companies, municipalities, Dalarna University and MIKRAB (research institute) and regional actors together with Jernkontoret, the Swedish Steel Producers’ Association.
New innovative technical solutions may increase the value of steel, further ennoble the products and create new enterprises. The vision is a strong and sustainable growth in the region through the development of advanced, globally leading steel products and applications.
Triple Steelix has three bases:
- Increased exchange of information between university, SME’s and large companies utilizing the strong existing base of knowledge around steel materials in the Bergslagen region.
- Strengthen the ability of innovation through the development of new networks and meeting points.
- Stimulate entrepreneurship through the creation and showing of success stories.
